Feel free to incorporate herbs like lemon or lemongrass, incense, or other meaningful items such as feathers, seashells, or flowers to enhance your intention.
What You’ll Need:
- A bowl of clear water
- Notepad (plain, without lines) and pen
- Candle (white, blue, or purple)
- Hand fan or large feather (optional)
Steps:

Set Your Space:
- Place the bowl of water in front of the candle. Light the candle and focus your energy on it.
- Speak your intention aloud, asking for clarity and calmness.

Relax and Meditate:
- Sit comfortably and clear your mind. Meditate while gazing at the water.
- As thoughts arise, jot them down on the notepad quickly and visualize each thought leaving your mind, settling onto the page.

Fan Away Stubborn Thoughts:
- If certain thoughts persist, gently fan your face or the water with the feather or hand fan. Imagine the unwanted thoughts drifting away with each motion.

Review and Burn the Notes:
- Review the thoughts you’ve written down. Cut or tear the page into strips, so each thought is on a separate piece of paper.
- Burn the least important or most troubling strips one by one, visualizing those concerns dissolving into smoke. With each piece, trust that you are letting go and creating space for peace and clarity.

Reflect on Remaining Notes:
- Evaluate the last few strips. Are they truly important? If not, burn these as well. If they hold significance, keep them for reflection.

- Let the candle burn for an additional hour or two to seal the practice. Imagine its light filling the space with calm, focused energy that seeps into every fiber of your being.
