Cleaning and consecrating crystals is a crucial step, and here are some basic details to guide you.
While certain crystals, like selenite, should not be cleansed with water, most others can be.
There are five elements to consider in cleansing, consecrating, and charging crystals. Although different people have their own methods, here is a basic technique:
The full moon is ideal for charging and infusing moon energy into crystals. Any moon phase can be used, but full moons are particularly potent.
Here's a simple process: Fill a glass bowl with sea salt and equal parts water, place the crystals inside for five minutes, drain the water, and then leave the crystals in the bowl under the moonlight overnight. If you can't go outside, simply place the bowl on your gallery or balcony to absorb moon energy.
After a morning saltwater bath, bring the crystals inside before direct sunlight. Cleanse yourself with a saltwater bath. Light incense and move the crystals through the smoke, and do the same with a candle or earthen diya. In this process, salt represents earth, water represents water, the candle or diya represents fire, and the incense smoke represents air.
Now, for charging or energizing: Hold the crystals in your dominant hand, close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, visualize white light covering and surrounding you. See the light moving through your body, flowing into your hand, and then direct it into the crystals. Hold this process for 2-3 minutes, talk to your crystals about your intentions, feel their vibrations, and once you sense heaviness on your eyelids, the charging is complete.
After charging, be mindful not to let others touch your crystals, as they may transfer their energy to the crystals, positive or negative, which could affect you.I hope this easy method help you with the cleansing
