Agrimony is versatile and a must in witch’s cabinet as it is not just for healing but to ward of harmful energies, used in dream divination, hex breaking, reversing spells and for general luck
Following are couple of ways to use agrimony in your working -
Incense –
Grind the root or leaves that is available and mix with some sage, when grinding speak with your botanical in order to make connection and activate them, speak your intention to the blend and ask humbly what you seek from them.
Candle Magick to ward off evil and negative energies –
• Black Candle (Regular Spell color candle)
• Above botanical blend
• Good quality olive oil
Do some grounding mediation to protect yourself with the white light and make your aura strong, Lightly tap the candle to activate it, anoint it with oil in downward direction and roll the candle over the botanical blend, Fix the candle on fire proof surface and light it
With your firm and rigid intention command those harmful energies to leave you, your space and people alone and go back to the source, stare the flame with the similar rage until you feel you are no longer angry or restless
Let the candle burn completely, Discard the Candle remains away from your residence in night
Dream Divination –
Assemble a fabric pouch, preferably cotton or jute, with agrimony root, bay leaves, lavender buds, mugwort, tektite stone and amethyst stone. If you want you can add few drops of lavender essential oil for its pleasant aroma
Smoke cleanse all the botanicals and stone before adding it in to the pouch, once done smoke cleanse the assembled pouch and hold it in your dominating hand and state your intention of divination, answers for your question that you are seeking.
Place the pouch under your pillow and sleep, in morning don’t open your eyes right after waking up instead try to recall your dream that you had last night and then write it down everything even a small detail in your dream journal and later you can try decoding those dreams.
Floor wash –
Boil agrimony roots and strain the water, add some sea salt and the strained agrimony water to mopping water, you may use this floor once a week or whenever you sense the need of it
